Kitchen & Dining

The gîte has a large and welcoming fully equipped kitchen and dining area, combining practical facilities with plenty of traditional character.

Exposed wooden beams and a decorative fireplace give the room a warm, traditional feel, while the generous amount of space makes it ideal for preparing meals and enjoying relaxed evenings together.

The dining table comfortably seats 4 to 6 guests, making it suitable for both family meals and longer evenings enjoying food and drinks after a day exploring Brittany.

Lounge

The good-sized lounge provides a comfortable place to relax during your stay.

There is a three-seater sofa, sofa bed and two armchairs, offering plenty of seating for families and groups. The sofa bed can also provide additional sleeping accommodation, allowing the gîte to sleep up to 6 guests when required.

Entertainment includes a flat-screen television with both UK and French television channels, as well as a DVD player and a selection of DVDs.

Families with children will also find a selection of indoor toys, puzzles and games, along with books and other activities for quieter evenings at the gîte.

First-Floor Double Bedroom

The first floor is home to a comfortable double bedroom overlooking the surrounding Brittany countryside.

It provides a peaceful space to unwind at the end of the day, with countryside views adding to the relaxed rural setting.

Storage is available with shelving and a hanging rail for clothes.

Bathroom

Also on the first floor is the bathroom, fitted with a clean white suite.

The bathroom includes a bath with shower over, giving guests the option of either a quick shower or a relaxing bath.

Second-Floor Twin Bedroom

A staircase leads to a spacious twin bedroom on the second floor.

The room benefits from skylight windows that bring in plenty of natural light and create a bright and airy feel.

There are two single beds together with a chest of drawers and clothes rail for storage.

Please note that the staircase leading to this bedroom is relatively steep, so it may not be suitable for very young children or guests with limited mobility.

Garden & Outdoor Space

One of the highlights of Gîte La Gifflaie is its large private garden, which extends around the rear and side of the property.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the garden offers plenty of space to relax outdoors and enjoy the peaceful rural setting.

A patio area includes an outdoor table and chairs along with two sun loungers, making it a lovely spot for breakfast outside, an afternoon in the sun or an evening meal.

A barbecue is also available for guests to use during their stay.

Parking

Private parking is available on the property’s driveway for up to two cars.

This makes the gîte particularly convenient for guests travelling by car and for families planning to explore Brittany during their stay.

Guest Access & Arrival

Guests have private use of the gîte during their stay.

A key safe is fitted at the entrance, allowing convenient and flexible arrival times. The access code is provided before arrival, making it particularly useful for guests arriving later in the day or outside normal hours.

Where possible, the host will also be available to personally welcome guests on arrival if they would prefer.

Important Information

Please be aware that the stairs leading to the second-floor twin bedroom are steeper than a standard staircase.

For this reason, the room may not be suitable for very young children or guests with mobility difficulties.
